Children and youth deserve adaptable, high-standard care providers, trained helpers and holistic programs to suit their uniqueness and assist in their healing journey.
Here’s how our group home experience is reunifying families.
Our Programs
Family reunification isn’t easy, but that’s why Simple Solutions Care is here.
We believe a successful reunification starts with children and parents staying together so each person receives the universal care and attention they need in a safe, healthy environment.
By providing an adaptable and interactive range of care, we support the big picture needs while honing in on the small steps of each individual’s journey. The main focus in our blended family support and group living programs is to offer personalized care to accommodate the unique situation of every client and family.
We currently offer two group home programs designed for children, youth and families who are experiencing varying degrees of trauma responses, high-risk behaviours or mental health challenges.
Learn more about the programs below.
01
Group Living Program
Simple Solutions Care provides comprehensive medical needs for children and youth in a safe and secure living space. This program addresses ongoing medical or trauma responses and behaviours that children, youth and families may be experiencing.
Depending on the situation, this program gives individuals the time and resources to resolve complex issues that may be preventing them from residing in their family home or with extended family. The program has two placement options: short term (under three months) and long term (over three months).
02
Family Support Program
This program is designed to offer the necessary supports to families in the process of reunification. The aim is to ensure parents or family members create stable environments while maintaining healthy relationships with important individuals in their lives.
An in-house Family Support Worker will be present to work with the health and wellbeing needs of our clients, which may include help with daily habits, activity planning, goal setting and more.
At Simple Solutions Care, we have the capacity to provide a living space for children and youth who are part of a sibling group as well. This prioritizes the unification while working with the family so that connections are maintained.
Overall, this support program involves the family and community so that parenting skills are learned or optimized, children get to stay together, and families are able to permanently reunite. The program has two placement options: short term (under three months) and long term (over three months).
Everyone Deserves a Home
A home that feels safe to sleep in, comfortable to laugh in, inspired to share stories in, and welcoming to live and grow up in.
Our group home in Edmonton is still a home—and a place for youth, children and parents to get continued guidance in a nurturing, therapeutic and family-focused atmosphere.
Navigating the many layers of health, trauma, healing or education in a family unit is a considerable feat in today’s society. But we believe in supporting families every step of the way so they can develop healthy habits, integrate daily routines or activities, adjust to new places, and ultimately lead meaningful, happier lives.
Our Admissions Procedure

Welcome & Introduction:
